Visual monitoring (control) of availability of a host (network resource) in the local computer network, the Internet, etc. to its IPv4-address, by periodic sending to it inquiries under the ICMP protocol. In the course of work the LOG file containing detailed information on change of the status of availability of a controlled host is constantly kept.
Opportunities:
- continuous monitoring of availability of the set host to its IPv4-address;
- visual (color and text) indication of the current availability of a host;
- visual (color and text) indication of availability of knot for the period;
- display of percent of availability and inaccessibility of a host for the period;
- display of amount of the successful and lost inquiries of a host for the period;
- display of the current time of a response (RTT) of a host and its default-TTL;
- display of the minimum, maximum and average RTT and default-TTL;
- display of time of the beginning and duration of monitoring of a host;
- creation of control marks about the status of availability of a host (once an hour);
- reproduction of a sound signal at change of the status of access to a host;
- start of the third-party application at change of the status of access to a host;
(there is an opportunity to transfer the host IP address to qualities of parameter,
and also to specify number of events (mistakes/progress) for its start)
- record in the LOG file of information on change of the status of availability of a host;
- possibility of autostart of the utility together with loading of an operating system;
- possibility of display of a window of the utility over windows of other appendices;
- automatic preservation and restoration of all setting up utility.
